Align An Outdoor Event Brand In A Saturated Market
The Challenge
The youth lacrosse tournament arena is a crowded marketplace. The client would like to event to stand out from the competition. Callosum is seeing a breakdown in the brand platform naming: website, tournament game, etc. It is important to differentiate each brand under one umbrella.
The Solution
Vail Lacrosse Tournament signed on for the Agency of Record and utilized services including the brand audit, brand development, sponsorship tier program, deck creation, and marketing strategy, plan, and budget. The social channels were integrated into the website, an event brochure was designed. The strategy was created and content created for social channels. The newsletter was revamped and a promotional activation was designed and executed. Once the brand platform was aligned and marketing channels synced, three press releases went live as a result of media outreach services. Live at the event, new signage was rolled out, and vendor cross-promotions were marketed – all being captured by an event photographer to fill a need for an asset library.
The Result
The professionalism of the tournament was raised with a consistent, memorable and polished presentation across all marketing channels. Parents of the youth athletes participated in the activation and cross-promotion offers from regional outfitters. An editorial piece and multiple-photo newspaper article ran covering the tournament. And the tournament manager acquired photo assets that can be used for future marketing.
